Often, we can compare ourselves to the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, stuck on a pool. We, like the Scarecrow, are stuck in our thoughts and feelings, struggling to find help.

How often do we choose to remain in discouragement, accept victim thinking and not welcome the help of others when help comes our way? It is said when a soul is in need, it will call out to others.

Be open to people, places and things that come in and out of your life, for they may be the Dorothy needed to loose you from the bondage called stink-en, think-en.

And so it is, Amen.
